“PorocPoroc” in Tupy Guarany  or “The great roar” is the tidal bore wave that rolls up the Amazon Basin in northern Brazil. Documenting an expedition of 3 pro surfers and their search to ride the longest wave we traveled to the remote region for a Discovery channel and National Geographic feature.

Working with Southbeach Productions and Groundswell Productions, 8ft faces contributed photography, writing and media to the project. Articles were published in the Surfers Path and with CBC.
